This Tutorial Shows how to setup a Custom Domain for GroovePages and a Custom Subdomain for GrooveBlog
Groove.cm includes the option to host your domains, along with a free SSL (necessary for https:/ security) from within the Groove admin.
There are a lot of different ways to configure your domains.
In some cases, you may already be using your domain for another website and will need to use a subdomain for your Groove sites.
In this example, we're going to use our main domain for a GroovePages website, and a subdomain for our GrooveBlog, like:
- https://mycustomdomain.com - goes to one of my custom websites hosted on Groove
- https://blogs.mycustomdomain.com - goes to one of my GrooveBlog blog
This tutorial walks you through setting this up with a Namecheap domain, from pointing the nameservers to Groove, to setting up the domain and subdomain and assigning them to the proper website and blog.
